On the 20th of November, we come together to mourn our trans and gender diverse community that have been lost as a result of extreme prejudice and transphobia. We commemorate International Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) in their names. On this day we aim to raise public awareness of transgender people and bring to its attention the violence, hatred and discrimination transgender and gender non-conforming people face on a daily basis.
